Families embrace tennis
THE Kilcoy Tennis Club staged another successful Family Fun Day last Sunday, July 25, with a group of families honing their tennis skills under the watchful eye of club coach Jani Kroyherr.
Having staged a number of sessions since his arrival earlier this year, Jani ensured everyone had their fair share of exercise and fun while being immersed in the game of tennis.
At the end of the session, attendees enjoyed a barbecue and drinks as arranged by the club.
Club president Gil Todd said the Family Fun Day was a great way to spend a few hours on a Sunday with the whole family and still have plenty of time to enjoy the afternoon at home.
“These sessions are proving very popular as the time is just right for the busy family,” Gil said.
Jani aims to stage Family Fun Days on a regular basis.
Cost is just $10 per family.
