All proceeds go to the Endeavour Foundation, supporting people with intellectual disabilities.

Event organiser Scott Law said he had been involved in the annual Great Endeavour Rally since 2015, with more than $150,000 raised.

Having also done irrigation work at the Kilcoy Golf Club, Scott said a new initiative for the Endeavour Foundation was to have a golf fundraising day.

“People can look forward to a fun atmosphere while having a hit of golf,” he said.

“Being a foundation, every cent that’s raised goes to where it should.”

Teams of four are needed as the format will be a 4-ball Ambrose, with a cost of $80 for an individual or $300 for a team of four.

Participants are expected to come from Warwick and the Glasshouse Mountains in addition to the Somerset and Moreton areas, with Scott saying 72 participants would be ideal so that each hole had two teams.

A sausage sizzle will be held at 9am, before registration is at 10am.

There will be a shotgun start at 10.30am for the first nine holes, followed by lunch, raffles and auctions from 12.30pm to 1.30pm.

A shotgun start will follow at 2pm for the second nine holes.

Prizes will be awarded for nearest-the-pins and longest drives.

Bookings can be made to Scott Law at 0417 427 016, or the Kilcoy Golf Club at (07) 5405 5705.
