Rattlers ready to host Buffaloes

THE Brisbane Valley Rattlers are hopeful that their home ground will be fit for play this Friday night, with the situation to be monitored during the week.

The Rattlers are ready to host the Beenleigh Buffaloes at Fernvale Sports Park, as both AFL teams chase a breakthrough win in the Queensland Football Association (QFA) Division 4 season.

In their first year of seniors, the Rattlers landed two goals in one match but were restricted to scores of one or four points in their other three defeats, while conceding more than 100 points on those three occasions.

The Buffaloes have tallied seven goals this season as they too have had four sizeable defeats.

Last Friday’s matches were called off because of the wet conditions, and may be postponed to July 1 which was originally going to be a bye for all teams.
