The teams were locked at 12-all when half-time sounded, before Caloundra romped to a 40-12 lead and ultimately prevailed 40-16.

Bayden Hales opened the scoring for the Snakes before he later exited the match with injury, while Caloundra moved to a 12-6 lead.

A converted try to the Snakes in the lead-up to half-time gave them hope for the second half, but the Sharks gained the momentum and kept their foot on the accelerator until the home team scored a consolation try.

A full wrap of grand final day will appear in the September 9 edition of The Sentinel News.
