Snakes welcome junior clan

JUNIOR rugby league players can still sign up for the Caboolture Snakes for the 2022 season, after the club had a sign-on day at the Snake Pit last Saturday.

The club is hoping for record numbers after players from all age groups slithered to the pit for an action-packed day, featuring new and familiar players.

Club President Nate Findlay said, “The kids really enjoyed meeting coaching staff, participating in drills and games to learn and begin to understand the great game of junior rugby league.

“An NRL development officer was on hand to run drills with our younger players.

“We also kicked off our raffle with a fully signed Queensland women’s (State of Origin) jersey.”
