One of the most prominent equestrian showjumping events in Queensland, the Festival of Showjumping is expected to host about 300 riders from around the country from Thursday (June 23) to Sunday (June 26).

The event has run for more than 20 years, and was held at the Caboolture Showgrounds before moving to QSEC in 2017.

The Peachester Lodge Caboolture World Cup will be held under lights from 5pm in the indoor arena on the Saturday.

World Cup qualifying rounds are held in various Australian states each year, with the Caboolture-based event this year being one of two qualifying rounds hosted in Queensland.

Nearly $11,500 in prizemoney will be held at this Caboolture-based World Cup event, and limited tickets are available for the VIP dinner while watching Australia’s best showjumpers compete for top honours.

In addition to the main indoor arena, there will be two redesigned outdoor arenas where all levels of riders are catered for.

Showjumping competitions range from 80cm to World Cup level.

Jumping starts from 8am on each of the four days.

Entry for spectators is free. Food stalls and Trade Village will be among the other happenings in addition to the scheduled events.

The event will be live-streamed.
