Stolen motorcycles from Kallangur

POLICE are appealing for residents to be vigilant and report suspicious behaviour and to take extra measures to secure your motorcycles.

Two motorcycles were stolen from an Aquarius Street, Kallangur, address between 2.30am and 3am on February 11. 

A 2014 green Kawasaki EX300b motorcycle, Queensland registration 151MY, was stolen along with a 2016 blue Yamaha YSF-R3 that has since been recovered. 

Both were stolen from the driveway of the residence. Security cameras at the residence were interfered with by the offender/s.

The blue Yamaha was located at 6.30pm on February 12 at a Gympie Road, Lawnton business carpark. The motorcycle had extensive damage. 

A black Yamaha MTO7 motorcycle, Queensland registration 717OB, was stolen between 1am and 5am on February 11 The Crescent in Kallangur. 

The motorcycle was parked in an open carport in front of the residence. 

A person was seen in the area wearing a red/maroon hooded jumper and black long pants with a slim build.

Two other bikes have been stolen since February 1 in the Kallangur area. 

A blue 2004 Honda CBR600 Queensland registration 94ZAC was stolen from a carport between 8am on February 8 and 8pm February 9 from a Leis Road West, Kallangur address. 

A 2021 orange and white unregistered KTM 250 SXF and a M2R helmet was stolen from a shed at an Anzac Avenue, Kallangur, residence between 8.30am on February 4 and 4pm on February 5.
