Teens now eligible for vaccine
Restrictions on gatherings and dancing will ease further this afternoon, just as the Federal Government announced children aged 12-15 years can be booked for the Pfizer vaccination from September 13.
Public gatherings in open spaces will have no limits, while a private house can now hold 100 people.
Brides are the biggest winner, with all wedding guests now allowed to dance, while Cafés, pubs and restaurants can now have one person per 2m² or 100 per cent capacity if they are ticketed and seated. You no longer need to be seated when eating and drinking.

South-east Queenslanders are required to continue carrying a face mask with them at all times unless they have a lawful reason not to. They must also be worn on public transport and in ride-shares and indoors, unless you can stay at least 1.5m away from other people.
In south-east Queensland, masks must be worn by teachers and staff at all schools, and students at high schools.
The decision on opening the vaccination to 12-15 year-olds came after the Federal Government’s expert vaccine panel made the recommendation today.
Vaccinations will most likely be offered through schools, or by GP clinics.
