With the event being a fixture on the National Rodeo Association (NRA) calendar, high quality competitors are expected in each class while a contingent of local riders is also likely.

Gates open at 10am before the warm-up events start at 11am, including junior bull riding, roping, barrel races and bronc riding.

The main event will begin at the usual time of 3pm, with senior bull riding, roping, barrel races and bronc riding events throughout the afternoon and evening.

There will also be plenty of activity outside the arena as there will be the usual free carnival rides, food stalls and full bar, while patrons are advised that no alcohol can be brought along to the venue.

Camping on the grounds will be available at a cost of $15 per person, with payment required upon entry.

Entrance to the rodeo will be $20 for adults, and $15 for concession cardholders and high school students, while Under 12s are admitted for free.

Proceeds from the event will be donated back into the community.
