‘Top Tipping’ race meet set for Kilcoy next week

Seven races are set for the Kilcoy Race Club’s ‘Top Tipping Tuesday’ race day on October 31.

One of the races will be the 8/9th Battalion RAR 50th anniversary race over 1200m, with Kilcoy Race Club chairperson Con Searle saying most of the ‘Kilcoy Diggers’ were members of the 8/9th Battalion.

Mr Searle said Vietnam Veterans and representatives have been invited to celebrate the anniversary to be held in Brisbane on October 31.

Entry will be free to the Kilcoy race day, while there will be the usual features such as Pick the Card, raffles, and the members’ draw.

Gates will open at 11.30am.
