Weaner steers to $1,100 at Toogoolawah
Shepherdson and Boyd reported a larger yarding of 1,226 head at their fortnightly Toogoolawah store cattle sale last Friday.
Feeder and re-stocker steers sold fully firm on the previous sale’s strong rates. Cows and calves sold firm. Feeder heifers and backgrounder heifers continued to ease as dry weather continues to prevail in the area and feedlot availability tightens.

A Welk of Mt Berryman sold Droughtmaster cross steers 18-20mths for $1,410. Peter and Fran Eggleston of Toogoolawah sold Charolais cross steers 16-18mths for $1,150.
