Woodford Mechanical hit the road running

IT has been just over two months since Andy and Pip Omundsen started their trade as Woodford Mechanical and they said they have been overwhelmed by support from locals.

Andy is also open to people coming in with their classic cars. One customer has bought in their Z28 Camaro for an engine rebuild, and Andy is also working on his own 1968 Cougar, fixing up the 408 supercharged stroker motor.

Andy said “all the customers are really, really good” and they are “more than happy” with how the business is progressing.

With over 35 years of mechanic experience, Andy is offering a range of services, including general servicing, transmission servicing, engine rebuilds and reconditioning, computer diagnostics, differential rebuilds and so much more.

Woodford Mechanical are also offering weekend availabilities for people who are unable to get their vehicle in during the week.

“As long as I’ve got notice so I can get the parts, we can facilitate a Saturday service or repair,” Andy said.

Woodford Mechanical is a family owned and operated mechanical workshop opened 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday.

With four kids, Andy and Pip Omundsen said they are excited to see them grow up in the workshop.
